Portable Digital Hardness Tester for Plastics and Rubbers
AFFRI Electronic Shore hardness tester is equipped with a slim measuring nose, enabling precise measurements even on small components. It is ideal for performing Shore hardness tests on a variety of materials, including tires, soft flexible rubber, plastics, PVC, polyester, neoprene, leather, Thiokol, nitrile rubbers, and more.
The device features an operating console with an LCD display, offering various measurement options such as peak value, dwell time, and continuous readings. Additional functionalities include data storage, automatic test numbering, calculation of averages, access to stored results, statistical analysis, standard deviation reporting, and histogram generation. It supports data export through RS 232 C or USB for seamless connection to computers or printers.

How Does Electronic Shore Work?
Using it is incredibly simple: press the probe against the sample’s surface, wait for the dwell time, and the result will instantly appear on the display!
Bech-top Support
It is possible to transform ELECTRONIC SHORE from a portable hardness tester to a bench-top hardness tester by combining it with its stand. In its benchtop version, during the test cycle the force is applied by the stand ensuring maximum stability during any dwell time. The constant pressure exerted ensures measurements of maximum precision. Mounting the probe on its support is very simple: just screw-unscrew the hardness tester to the appropriate socket. Additional accessories are available for Shore C-D-DO.

Portable Clamping SUpport
The portable clamping support is the solution for hardness tests on difficult to measure objects, immediate measurements in the field even on plastic granules, agglomerates, fertilizers, medical and food products. It is possible to insert ELECTRONIC SHORE into this manual clamping system, which blocks the test piece and allows stable measurements avoiding movement of the sample. Easy and safe with a test capacity of 30 x 30 mm. It is supplied with an anvil and various accessories. The result is communicated to the display with relative measurement of the breaking point and hardness, data memory, statistics and PC connection.
The Software
User-friendly keyboard with IP 64 protection. Offers measurement options such as peak, dwell time, and continuous. Temperature measurement included. Features automatic averaging, a list of stored results, statistical analysis, and standard deviation. Data output via RS 232 C or USB for easy connectivity.
O-Rings ASTM 1414
Clamping holder set designed for highly accurate hardness testing of O-Rings, fully compliant with ASTM 1414 standards. Available in sections of Ø 1, 1.79, 2.62, 3.53, 5.33, and 6.99 mm; other sizes available upon request.
